I’m trying so hard to be someone that I just might not be. I did something to my back and I have to work today. And I was really going to clean good as I bought a new stove and it needs delivered.

Back to the idea of being someone I’m not. I see these perfected organized people on social media (yes insert eyeroll) and I wish I was that person but me. I thought the other day getting myself down.. Angela… that’s just not you. First you’re not a type a personality. And you do good getting through the day keeping your shit together for work. You can’t just orchestrate a life planned out to be perfect. It will never be you so accept it. Acceptance is hard though.

  1. Comparing ourselves to others is a toxic cycle. That ain’t us. Just be a more together I of yourself and compete with being a better you than you were the day before. We have enough dragging us down without bullying ourselves💜

  2. I just wanted to comment that when you are working on yourself, life is often very lonely. And, social media… I was finally successful in giving up… there were helpful people and not so helpful people on my social media… but again, it’s lonely when you’re working on yourself… so, bye bye social media.

  3. Someone else’s expectations or our own expectations from ourselves make us think we are not a specific type of person , we are not cut out for something we thought we were and it’s fine because the sooner we can accept that , the sooner we attain peace and can make changes
