How the tides turn

My joy from earlier has been replaced with swirling thoughts of doubt and regret. How is it that a few hours change your feelings?

  1. Remember that everything passes, even as in the George Harrison album title, All Things Must Pass. Your negative mood will change as quickly as the last positive mood did. Like clouds scudding across the sky.

      1. That’s too rapid for bipolar rapid cycling. Mood swings after just a few hours are common in borderline personality disorder. I again urge you to see a psychiatrist.

  2. I agree with Mrs Mac, you really ought to get professional help if you never have before.

The main thing that concerns me about you is this conscience you exhibit with regard to being a better person. Where is this coming from? Why not just accept and be okay with who you are? Nobody is giving you a hard time about who you are supposed to be. There’s no such thing as perfect, in case you didn’t know.

Try to relax and do something you enjoy.

    1. I think it’s how i was raised. To be perfect and pleasing to everyone. I’ve tried therapy lots of times. I’ll call to make an appt though to see someone again and try to work out issues.
