Trying to find a reason

Im trying to find a reason to stay at work today. My morning was busy but now I’m blah and don’t want to be here. I should stay though. I have things to do. How do you power through motivation?

I think the determination of a goal keeps us going.

I count down hours in increments,,,Oh, another 15 minutes passed…X amount of time til home. I just keep doing that, it makes me focus on something other than the mind’s mantra of “I don’t wanna be here…”

The thought of what my paycheck is going to look like if i do leave keeps me here. But i am really bad at figuring out just how many hours I must get in order to take care of everything. Then only stay for those hours. So i still end up leaving early.

I don’t. If I really don’t want to be somewhere – if I really feel that my time spent is wasted – I leave.
