Why is it so hard to have routines and do chores? I’m so over having mental illness issues. I’m always tired can’t concentrate and feel overwhelmed. Though lack the ability to do anything about it. Sigh. I know I need to make changes what stops me? Anyway these are my thoughts today. What are yours?

    My routine is getting up, doing nothing all day and in the evening, thinking “tomorrow I should do something.”
    So I get up the next day and do nothing. I can’t get out of my rut and I’ve stopped trying.

    It is such a struggle to do things daily. I fight every single day to get out of bed when all I want to do is stay there. I am one of the lucky ones that thinks so bad of himself, that I force myself to do things so I make the bad feelings feel just a little lower.

    Hi! I just came across this post and had to comment! I can sooo relate! I live with depression (hence the title of my blog);) and experience what you just described almost daily! I describe it as if ‘my mind had a mind of its own’! Where I can see the logic and benefits in getting off my bum and pushing myself forward but my ‘mind’s own mind’ convinces me otherwise! Its an exhausting journey! But I am learning to push myself gently further each day! Learning to be gentle and accepting of and to myself has been a huuuge step forward! Now I am working on learning how to ‘like myself’ gggrrr! Anyway just wanted to say hi and that I hear you and wish you the very best!!!:) x

    I love and hate routines. I love to know what to expect, but I am really shit at sticking to routines. I always feel like either I could make them better or they are too much to handle depending on where I am mood wise. Anyways, I don’t really have any solutions , but *biggianthugs*

    Something that might help you get into a routine is to make a list. After making list after list, I have a routine and I am so much better for it. The downfall though, is that when I am not in my routine my whole day is ruined and so is my mood. So there really is no win I guess.
