anxiety hell

Posted on

I’m in anxiety hell the last two days. I can’t get out of it. It’s to the point I’m having unhealthy thoughts just to escape it. Most of it is irrational fears but some are triggers that have happened. I’m going to call my Dr and see if I can get in this Friday to see him. Cross your fingers.

Good luck getting in to your doctor. Hang in there. Make sure if they get too unhealthy, you seek immediate help. There is always help available! I saw a video that I wish I could find the link to again about looking around the room and analyzing things (shapes, colors, etc.) to get your brain to switch from focusing on the amygdala to the frontal lobe. Every little bit helps. Again, hang in there. You can get through this!

Oh yes grounding… I’ll try that… is amazing how we forget our healthy coping skills when in crisis

*fingerscrossed* reach out in whatever way you can until then. And take your anxiety medication if you need it, I know that you try not to take it, but that’s what it’s for.

We’re all cheering for you! I hope you can get in to see the doctor soon! Remember that it always goes away eventually – you just have to push through to get there.
