Seeing the positives

I received a very kind comment that I am stuck in the negative mind frame. I think the person is right. Sometimes we need others to point the obvious out. So I’m taking a moment to think of the positives.

I get paid Tuesday so I can finish Christmas shopping.

I get to live another day and everyone is healthy.

I have a dog that loves me unconditionally.

So three not very many but a good start.  🙂

    Awesome! Three is better than none! I do a gratitude diary each night before bed to do this. I say a minimum 5 things and start each line off with I am grateful for.. really helps!

    I also do a gratitude journal, but only aim for 2-4 things a day. Usually 3. I could force myself to come up with more, but try to focus on what’s special about that day, not the things that are true every day.

    Great step! I like the idea of a gratitude journal also!
